Gill E. Williamson, 69, of Chillicothe Illinois, died on May 27, 2024 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House in Peoria. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on July 28, 1955 to the late John and Margaret Williamson, he was married to Vanessa Williamson and they had three children. Vanessa died September 16, 2022. Gill is survived by his daughter Margaret "Nikki" (Mark) Manning of Lacon; son Eric (Victoria) King of Canton; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and some of his 19 siblings that spread themselves across America. He was also preceded in death by his son Geoffrey Williamson, great granddaughter Kinnley Hallmark, and some of those 19 siblings. Gill was a friend indeed, always ready to lend hand day or night. He loved all his pets, including his dog Jimmy Dean and grand dog Ace. Gill spent most of his working life as an independent trucker with a smattering of factory work in between some loads.
