Michael Olson, 54, of Peoria, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 12, 1970, in Spring Valley, Illinois to Russell Jr. and Mary (Mutta) Olson. He is survived by his father Russell Olson Jr. of Sparland Illinois, brothers Howard (Norma) Olson of Springfield Illinois, David (Erin) Olson of Lacon Illinois; sisters Lynette Miller of Sparland, Denise (Jonathan) Nickel of Magnolia Illinois, Julie Olson of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Olson. Mike held several jobs in the computer field most recently with OSF. His favorite pastimes were hiking around Geocaching and surfing the net learning new computer repair skills & interacting with friends. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Lacon-Sparland Fire Department or MSW Projects of Henry, Illinois -Meals on Wheels. Online condolences
