Beverly Jo Jason, 72, of Lacon Illinois, formerly Sheffield Illinois, died on October 9, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. Born on April 25, 1952 in Rantoul Illinois to the late Robert and Marjorie (Schultz) Aber, she married Stephen Cade and they had two children. Stephen died April 28, 1992. She then married Delbert Jason Jr. on April 25, 2003 in Lacon. He survives. Also surviving is her son Robert (Judy) Cade of Kewanee Illinois; daughter Melissa (Joshua) Bakel of Lacon; sisters Sue Bowyer of Buda Illinois, Kathy Kidd of Neponset Illinois; brothers Bob Aber of Sheffield, Barry (Lisa) Aber of Buda, Hubie (Lori) Aber of West Liberty Iowa; grandchildren Brittany, Briann, Dalton, Rowen, Silas, Finley; and four great grandchildren, with one on the way. Bev loved to love her family and people around her. She showed her love by cooking and gathering with those she loved to celebrate all of life's occasions.
