Karen Miller Mattingly, 61, of Washburn Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria Illinois. Born in Peoria to the late Paul and Noel (Downey) Carter, she married James Miller in 1981. James died October 3, 1991.
Karen was always doing something, never sitting still, and had to always be on the go. she never knew a stranger in her life and she loved to be in the kitchen cooking something and trying new recipes. Her grandchildren were everything to her.
Surviving is her significant other Harold West of Washburn; daughter Laura (Bob) Brady of Washburn, James (Cassandra Brackett) Miller of Pekin, Julia (Jason) Briggs of Chillicothe Illinois; Jeremiah (Margie Brady) West of Low Point Illinois, Joey West of Fort Leonard Wood Missouri; siblings Patty Vosteen of Myrtle Beach South Carolina, Andrew (Pam) Griswold of Lacon, Terri Meinders of Washburn; grandchildren Caleb Miller Taylor (Brady Steele) Miller, Cody West, Abby Briggs, Landon Br
