Dale Hartwig Born: August 20, 1931 in Hennepin, IL Died: December 3, 2024 in Peoria, IL Henry: Dale Russell "Doc" Hartwig, 93, of Henry, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2024, 6:45 pm at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Visitation will be held Monday December 9, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Henry United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. A Masonic Service will be held at 9:00 am. The Rev. Will Meachum will officiate. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery, where full military rites will be accorded by the Henry American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Henry United Methodist Church, or to the Henry Food Pantry. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry is in charge of arrangements. Dale was born August 20, 1931, in rural Hennepin, IL to Earl Harry and Maybel (Childs) Hartwig, Sr. He married Linda Heininger on July 24, 1954, at the Henry Methodist Church. She survives in Henry.
