Christie Arlene (Cline) Nelson, 62, of Lacon, passed away on January 13, 2025 at Carle Methodist Hospital. She was born on July 29, 1962 in Pontiac, IL to the late Jerry and Phyllis (Gray) Cline. Christie married Darrel Nelson on December 31, 1999 in Lacon.
She is survived by her son Jeremy Cline of Lacon; her daughter Brooklynn (Ben) Davison of Peoria; her brother Curt (Patty) Cline of Lacon; Nieces Shannon York of Lacon and Addie (Travis) Collins of Peoria; Nephew AJ Cline of Lacon; two great-nieces, and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrel Nelson on March 4, 2020.
Christie did home healthcare for many local residents and worked as a CNA. She also worked for the Midland School District & held a Beautician's license. She was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed to cook & spending time with her family & friends.
Funeral Service for Christie will be held on Monday, January 20th at 11:00 AM at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Visitation
