Ronald E Simonton, 82, of Chillicothe Illinois, died on January 10 at his residence. He was born on May 15, 1942 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Albert and Leona (Colwell) Simonton. Ron worked as a body man at Foley Gill Ford for many years.
Ron is survived by his sons Vance, Christopher, Raymond, and Gerald Simonton; sister Linda (John) High; brother Allen Simonton; nieces Cindy Sommer Simonton & Desiree (Jason) Scoby; and many grandkids, great nieces & great nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother's Larry and Duane Simonton.
cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Burial will be in the Sparland Cemetery next to his parents at a later date.
