It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, brother, and best friend Ray Phillip Holler, 71 of Lacon Illinois who died on January 29, 2025 at his residence. Born in Peoria Illinois on September 12, 1953 to the late George and Nancy (Davis) Holler. He married Susan Parrish on December 26, 1986 and had one son. Surviving Phil is his son Travis (Lindsey) Holler of Sparland Illinois; brother Vernon (Holly) Holler of Lacon; sisters Georgann (Joe) Stout of Kewanee Illinois, Terri Holler of Lacon; and his five grandchildren, Reylina, Cole, Tristen, Aaron and Isabella. Phil was also preceded in death by one infant sister. Phil served his country in the Army after high school. Farming, pool leagues, fishing, and running traps was his favorite things to do but his biggest love was geode & arrowhead hunting, and he was able to make a living hunting the infamous geologic formations and artifacts.
