Shirley J. McCullum, 89, of Chillicothe Illinois, died on February 3, 2025 at Carle Methodist Hospital in Peoria Illinois. Born on February 17, 1935 in Peoria to the late Louis and Adah (Zilm) Mattice, she married Roger McCullum on August 13, 1967 in Peoria. Roger died on August 4 in 2019. Surviving are her children Philip McCullum of Bloomington, Paul (Annette) Thomas of Collinsville Illinois, Rebecca (Dennis) Gibson of Chillicothe; son-in-law Daniel "DJ" (late Deborah) Frasco of Peoria; Five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Frasco and sister Sharon Reed. Shirley spent over 40 years in the banking industry as a teller starting at People Savings in Chillicothe and retiring from Associated Bank. She also was a member of the Rotary Club of Chillicothe, the Red Hats, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainman. She had a love for card games, especially pinochle.
