Kathy Darlene Sell, 72, of Sparland Illinois, died on February 4, 2025 at her residence. Born on May 3, 1952 in Pekin Illinois to the late Virgil and Leona (Landrus) Prine, she married Edward Sell on August 9, 1993 in Fortine, Montana. He survives.
Also surviving is her son Calvin Williams of Pekin, siblings Brenda (Mick) Lewis of Fortine Montana, brother Virgil Dean (Dianna) Prine of Forest City Illinois, Janice (Joe) Smith of Pekin, Sharon (Chuck) Trueblood of Pekin, Eileen (Jack) Lash of Pekin, Bill (Connie) Starbuck of Manito Illinois, Kim (Bryan) Posey of Atkins Arkansas, Donna (Alan) Vaughn of Pekin; granddaughters Melanie (Michael) Cusack of Peoria, Alyssa (Matt) Bailey of Bloomington; and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her half brother Arthur Starbuck and one stepbrother Chuck Starbuck.
Kathy was a librarian at the Chillicothe Library for over 20 years. She loved to read. She enjoyed taking her granddaughters to the library often when they were lit
