Jane A. Schoepke, 83, of Wenona, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025 at Parker Nursing and Rehab Center in Streator.Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 26, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wenona with Rev. William Callister officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is entrusted with Jane's funeral arrangements.Mrs. Schoepke was born in Streator on August 25, 1941 to Edward and Edna (Flesburg) Nenne. She married Roger Schoepke on December 1, 1963. She was a sales clerk at Wenona Dry Cleaners and was secretary of Bethany Lutheran Church.Mrs. Schoepke enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidering, cooking, baking, and playing cards. She loved raising her children and grandchildren, and babysitting her "other grandchildren" who called her "Grandma Jane". She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the church Women's Club, Eastern Star and Trowel
