Edward Lee Sell, 71, of Sparland Illinois, passed away on March 3, 2025 at his home. Born on January 9, 1954 in Peoria Illinois to the late Edward Melville and Eleanor Jean (Trowbridge) Sell, he married Kathy Prine on August 9, 1993 in Fortine Montana. Kathy passed away on February 4, 2025.
Ed is survived by his son Edward Leon (Chyrll McLaws) Sell of Peoria; sisters Vickie Willis of Peoria, Lisa (Brian Sessa) Mulligan of Elmwood Illinois, Melinda Sell of Havana Illinois; Brothers Jack & Gary Sell of Washington; stepson Calvin Williams of Pekin, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Ed worked at Caterpillar for over 35 years, starting as a welder and rising over the years to an electrical engineer. He was meticulous and very creative, building a computer from scratch and doing a restore on a Mustang from the ground up.
