Steve, a resident of Toluca, peacefully departed this life at 4:50 p.m. on Thursday March 13, 2025, at the age of 75 at his son's home in Toluca surrounded by family and friends. Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be at held 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 1st at Toluca Lanes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Shoot for the Cure" fundraiser benefiting breast cancer services in the Peoria area. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Toluca is assisting the family with arrangements. Steve was born on August 12, 1949, in Spring Valley, IL, the son of Peter and Doris Rennau Perona.
